Biography
Clinton was signed from Irish rugby union club Ulster in the Magners League competition and also he spent a year with Queensland Reds in the Super 14. However he is first and foremost a rugby league player and he is enjoying being back in the sport. He started his senior career with South Queensland Crushers and went to Parramatta Eels after they disbanded. However it was with Canberra Raiders that he made his name. In 2001 and 2004 he was named the Raiders' player of the year while in 2006 he was made captain of the club. In the same year he was chosen in the Queensland Maroons side for the State of Origin decider. His 1,604 points in first grade places him ninth in Australian rugby league's all time top point scoring list. He is of Polish descent.
