Biography

Gil became one of the few rugby league players in history to make his international debut before his club debut when he played for Wales against England in October 2008. He made his Crusaders first team debut against Leeds Rhinos at Rodney Parade in August 2009 following two successful years at reserve grade level. He previously played for Newport Titans rugby league club as well as regional rugby union side Newport Gwent Dragons at junior levels. He was also a Wales rugby league under 18 international.
