Ryan O’Hara was signed from Wests Tigers in the Australian NRL and was undoubtably the Crusaders' best player in 2009, swooping all accolades at the end of season club awards and was high in many of the Super League stats. One of only two ever-presents in 2009 (the other being Neil Budworth), he previously played for Canberra Raiders, where he won the Rookie of the Year award in 2001. Ryan’s first game for Wests was against Bradford Bulls in the World Club Challenge. He also represented New South Wales in the State of Origin in the 2004 series. He primarily plays at prop-forward.
